Pietje Witt, AA Diploma Thesis on Urban Growth (Exhibited in 'Projects Review Exhibition, Architectural Association, London, 1999);
The concept to allow external parameters to influence the morphogenic growth of buildings is tested on the design of a skyscraper for the Baltic Exchange site in London. The minimum amount of shadows cast on the neighbouring buildings was used as a parameter to generate the architecture of this 65 000 sqm office building.
